Country minis...

Well y'all, they have come and gone and already I cannot wait for next year's holiday minis. I had so much fun photographing all of these beautiful families. I got to see a couple of old friends (which is always nice), and got to meet several new families as well. Yesterday afternoon was just perfect in every way. We had yummy apple cider and soft, chewy cookies, and lots of fun, fun, fun, and I can't wait to show all of these families the tiniest little peek just until the rest are ready for them. I hope you all have a great week and I'll be seeing you all back here on Friday with another little peek of a gorgeous senior. Until then...Enjoy!!!

Sweetness!!!!

That's the one word that comes to mind when I think about this session and how it all started. This is the big winner of our facebook contest from last month. When I called her to set up our date I assumed we were going to be doing a senior portrait session because she sounded so young. She is young but a just a tad past being a high school senior. She said she wanted to bring along the two little girls that she babysits and do a session together with them. See I told you...SWEETNESS!!! She and these two amazingly gorgeous little girls were so happy together. I'm going to keep this a short blog so we can get to this super tiny but super fabulous little peek, because all this sweet girly could talk about was how excited she was about the sneak peek. Stay tuned guys!!! I'll be right back here tomorrow with another little peek from our second and final set of holiday minis for 2009. Until then...Enjoy!!!

Late, late, late...

but better late than never right?!?! I told you all I would be back here Sunday with a little peek from my afternoon with these 7 gorgeous kiddos (well a couple of them not quite kiddos anymore), but we had a just a smidgen of a delay. So this peek will just have to start my many more peeks I have coming later in the week. Remember this weekend is our second and final set of fun holiday minis for this year and we still have 3 spots left. It's not too late to reserve your spot!!! Now back to this super duper fun family session. I have been given the pleasure, twice before, of photographing a few of these pretty faces and then had the pleasure of meeting quite a few new ones as well for this insanely fun session. We acted a little silly, chased a couple of rambunctious little boys, and we were even treated by two of the most talented young men I have ever met, by their amazing guitar skills and beautiful singing voices. Not a single cloud in the sky, super cool temperatures, kiddos laughing, and then getting comfy in the grass while enjoying beautiful music, now that's my kind of Sunday afternoon. Why am I just going on and on when there's a late peek to get on with?!?! I know all of these Mommy's and Daddy's can't wait to see these. Jodie, I know I told you I probably would combine the siblings and not do individual images, but...they were all just so beautiful I could not help myself. So here they all are in order from youngest to oldest. I will be in touch soon with loads more for you guys. Until then...Enjoy!!!

10.17.09

Oh my goodness y'all!!! Here I am back for the second time today. We had our first set of Holiday minis this afternoon and let me just tell you that I had a blast!!! Today has got me super duper excited for next weekend's second set. Which may I remind you that if you don't have a spot reserved yet, it's not too late. This weather is just fantastic for Holiday picture taken with a little bit of silliness on the side. I drove back and forth for about 3 hours this afternoon finishing with one to go meet up with another. I'll be right back here tomorrow as well with a little peek from tomorrow's gigantic session with 7, yep, you read right, 7 kiddos. So...let's get on with this...I know I can't wait any longer, and I'm sure you guys can't either. I promise each and every one of you that although this may seem large, this is a teeny tiny peek. You all have sooooo many more on the way very soon! As always, until then...Enjoy!!!

She's back...

I had the pleasure of meeting up with this most adorable little birthday girl and her gorgeous Mommy again yesterday afternoon to finish up with the rain would not allow two weeks ago. I was given the opportunity to photograph her for her birthday last Fall as well. Then, she was turning 2 and did not want a thing to do with me or the strange black thing in my hand, but this year...oh my goodness. What a ham!!! She was a natural Cindy Crawford (and even cuter as far as I'm concerned). We were finished just about as quick as we began. On another note, is it just me or is this weather absolutely fabulous?!?! It has been super busy in MaddieBug's neck of the woods, so this cold weather is more than welcomed!!! Be sure to stay tuned over the next few days. We will be having our first set of holiday minis this afternoon and then before you can say MaddieBug we'll be right back out tomorrow with a visit from 7 kiddos all at one time. Busy, busy, busy!!! If you haven't scheduled one of our fun holiday minis yet, it's not too late...you still have time. We will be having another set next Sunday at The Old Mill in Waldo, and there are still 3 spots left, so hurry, hurry, hurry. I know after battling wind, mist, and coldness yesterday, this Mommy is ready to see these super duper cute images. So without any further ado, here are a few to hold you all over until...Enjoy!!!

Little Abigail...

Born just 13 days ago, and so very, very tiny...just a dream she was. She slept pretty much the entire time and if she wasn't asleep she was bright eyed and bushy tailed. Just a couple of tiny, little whimpers. We had a huge weekend around here with our little girl's 4Th birthday and visiting the pumpkin patch...it was nice to have a day to wind down with a sweet, quiet, newborn session. I always have such a hard time with a newborn sneak peek. How can you not want to say "awwww weeee" with every single one you see?!?! But as always, I managed to pick just a few for Mommy and Daddy to hold them over until the many, many more are ready. Until then...enjoy!!!

The quickest...

session ever!!!! We waited, we debated, we met, it came, it went, we ran...We had a huge afternoon lined up for this super duper gorgeous family, but the rain had other plans. Nonetheless, we still managed to squeeze in a few keepers and plan on meeting again in a couple of weeks for round 2. This is my second time photographing these 3. You probably recognize them from last Fall. They were one of my very first sessions, and it's such a pleasure working with them, which of course does not even seem like work at all with a family this gorgeous. As hard as it may be to believe, with just 10 minutes of photographing, I still had a really hard time picking my favorites for this teensy weensy peek, but as always, I managed it somehow!!! I'll see you all back in a couple of weeks for our second round. Until then...Enjoy!!!
