Colors...

I can remember when I was a little girl, my Momma would put my little brother and me in the car and we would ride down our little country road with the windows down just so we could hear the leaves crunching under the tires. Fall has been my favorite season since. What's not to love?!?! Perfect weather, tons of gorgeous colors, pumpkin carving, cute kiddos in adorable costumes, and lets not forget the one day of the year that it's OK to eat more than your body can handle and not feel guilty. Now...enough about this most blissful time of year and onto this sneak peek. This gorgeous family made my job hardly even seem like "real work" this afternoon. Little K, a whole 3 months old was just a little angel, and her big brother was a perfect tiny gentleman once he found out he could go slide once he was finished. Super duper big thank you to Mrs. Trisha for another adorable hat. You are just too, too sweet!!! I usually always try to post a few in color and black and white but I just could not make myself post any black and whites with all these gorgeous colors we had going on today. I cannot make Mommy & Daddy wait any longer so lets hop to it. Remember this is just a tiny peek. As always you have so many more to come very soon. Until then...Enjoy!!!

Country minis...

Well y'all, they have come and gone and already I cannot wait for next year's holiday minis. I had so much fun photographing all of these beautiful families. I got to see a couple of old friends (which is always nice), and got to meet several new families as well. Yesterday afternoon was just perfect in every way. We had yummy apple cider and soft, chewy cookies, and lots of fun, fun, fun, and I can't wait to show all of these families the tiniest little peek just until the rest are ready for them. I hope you all have a great week and I'll be seeing you all back here on Friday with another little peek of a gorgeous senior. Until then...Enjoy!!!

Sweetness!!!!

That's the one word that comes to mind when I think about this session and how it all started. This is the big winner of our facebook contest from last month. When I called her to set up our date I assumed we were going to be doing a senior portrait session because she sounded so young. She is young but a just a tad past being a high school senior. She said she wanted to bring along the two little girls that she babysits and do a session together with them. See I told you...SWEETNESS!!! She and these two amazingly gorgeous little girls were so happy together. I'm going to keep this a short blog so we can get to this super tiny but super fabulous little peek, because all this sweet girly could talk about was how excited she was about the sneak peek. Stay tuned guys!!! I'll be right back here tomorrow with another little peek from our second and final set of holiday minis for 2009. Until then...Enjoy!!!

She's back...

I had the pleasure of meeting up with this most adorable little birthday girl and her gorgeous Mommy again yesterday afternoon to finish up with the rain would not allow two weeks ago. I was given the opportunity to photograph her for her birthday last Fall as well. Then, she was turning 2 and did not want a thing to do with me or the strange black thing in my hand, but this year...oh my goodness. What a ham!!! She was a natural Cindy Crawford (and even cuter as far as I'm concerned). We were finished just about as quick as we began. On another note, is it just me or is this weather absolutely fabulous?!?! It has been super busy in MaddieBug's neck of the woods, so this cold weather is more than welcomed!!! Be sure to stay tuned over the next few days. We will be having our first set of holiday minis this afternoon and then before you can say MaddieBug we'll be right back out tomorrow with a visit from 7 kiddos all at one time. Busy, busy, busy!!! If you haven't scheduled one of our fun holiday minis yet, it's not too late...you still have time. We will be having another set next Sunday at The Old Mill in Waldo, and there are still 3 spots left, so hurry, hurry, hurry. I know after battling wind, mist, and coldness yesterday, this Mommy is ready to see these super duper cute images. So without any further ado, here are a few to hold you all over until...Enjoy!!!

Brothers...

These two cuties were so much fun, and who could have asked for a more beautiful afternoon?!?! Between the little punches, giggles, and tiny breezes this was an absolutely perfect session. It has been a long time since I had a session in the sunshine, and not a scorching hot one at that, so we took it easy and even let the boys have a little play time to roll around on the ground and wrestle. Their tickle boxes (and mine) got turned over a couple of times leaving little L with the hiccups which only made us giggle even more. Fun, fun, fun, I tell ya!!! I know their Mom is super anxious to see how I was possibly able to get photos without punches and shoves but C, I assure you there are tons with just sweet innocent faces and no fists flying. This is a just a tiny, TINY peek until the rest are finished. As always, until then...Enjoy!!!!

8.23.09

Oh my goodness!!! I don't know about y'all but the weather the last two days has spoiled me big time. What a perfect afternoon this was for a session. I had an adorable little birthday girl and her handsome big brother come to visit me. This is not the first time I've had the pleasure of photographing these two. They came to see me about this same time last year. Our last session was just a breeze and today was no different. We rolled in the grass, threw rocks in a creek (and got a little wet), and even had a little birthday cake (the perfect ending to a perfect session if you ask me). Here is just a little peek, and as always there are many more where these came from. L...I hope C got to play his PlayStation for being such a good little man. If he didn't you send him my way and we'll play. Enjoy!!!
