8.9.09

I had a super adorable senior come to visit me this afternoon, along with her bright green eyes, gorgeous red hair, and the most awesome pair of shoes I've ever seen. I knew when I saw them we were going to have fun, and that we did. We explored every corner of Talladega. We danced on an abandoned bridge, had a seat in my favorite alley, and finished off in the peace and quiet of the country. K...hope you got your Taco Bell, and I hope you guys had a safe drive back home. As always this is just a teeny peek. You have many, many more to follow soon. Enjoy!!!

Holiday mini-sessions...

We have had a ton of requests for holiday mini-sessions, so lets start scheduling them now. Our first set will be November 1st at The Old Mill in Waldo. Sessions will be scheduled 30 minutes apart and will start at 3pm. There will not be any quirky Christmas set-up and we promise not to make you wear matching reindeer sweaters with Santa hats. As always, MaddieBug wants you to be yourself in a completely natural setting. We will have all of our Christmas cards there for you to take a few minutes and select which design best fits your family. We will also have a cup of apple cider and a cookie for you while you are picking your card and package. The session fee is just $40 and covers up to 6 family members. This must be paid in full at the time of booking to secure your spot. Packages start at $100 and they all include 25 cards, of which are all designed by the Photographer, and envelopes. You will purchase your package at the time of your session. MaddieBug's cards are not printed on boring photo paper. They are printed as 5x7s on your choice of professional linen card stock. We will have several designs for you to choose from. Space is limited and will fill up quickly. You don't want to miss out! Contact us today (maddiebugphotos@bellsouth.net) to schedule your holiday mini-session.

8.2.09

Ok...this will probably be the biggest sneak peek in MaddieBug history. That's only because there are only a gazillion pictures to chose my favorites from and we had 2 seperate sessions today. We met earlier this afternoon at this gorgeous family's beautiful home and then again this evening for some outdoor fun, and we even got a little cozy in a flooded creek for some Mommy and Daddy only shots. I was chased out of the water by a mutant horse fly and I'm sure he swarmed all over me for a good minute and a half. It was not funny at the moment but it is now. I'm sure it was amusing. B thank you for being such a good sport...I know you were freezing. T you were awesome and I hope you cooked him a really good dinner for getting in the water for us. Little Miss P could not have been any cuter. She is an absolute doll!!! Even my Mom said so when we spoke tonight. I'm sure P gave her a cute little grin while she visited. Special thanks to Mimi for being such a huge help and thanks to all of you for making me feel so welcomed in your home. Let's hop to it...I know you guys cannot wait! I can't wait any longer either. Here is your huge but tiniest little peek. As always...you have MANY, MANY, MANY more to soon follow. Enjoy!!!

8.2.09

So, so sorry for the wait on this. I returned home from meeting with you guys only to find we had no power, and did not have any until 7 o'clock this morning. So here I am, sleep deprived and running behind, but super excited for you to see these super cute shots we got. I could not have asked for a calmer, more adorable baby boy. I love 6 month olds!!! They are so curious about what's going on around them and giggle at any face you throw their way. This little guy was so happy and I am not kidding when I say that he did not cry, not one single time. Just a dream!!! I want to thank The Freeman's again for such a perfectly gorgeous location. Absolute perfection for this little guy. I have got to cut this one short to prepare for my afternoon with another beautiful family and another adorable 6 month old. Like always...this is just a tiny peek and there are tons more to come. Enjoy!!!

3 times the fun...

And what a fun session it was!!! Whoever said "three's a crowd" was seriously mistaken. Well at least when it's three adorable, brown eyed little brothers. The oldest should send a photo to Abercrombie, the middle is so full of life, and the youngest was such a ham. This session went by so quick, and I'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact that the sooner we finished the sooner they could dive in the super cold creek. Of course while they had their fun I photographed, so it worked out for all of us. So to the M's thank you guys for such a fun session and I hope you had a safe trip home. Here are a few to hold you over and I'll be in touch very soon with tons (and I mean tons) more. Enjoy!!!

Twelve...

It has been a while since I've photographed Miss H and I have to admit I was having some withdrawals. We will not wait so long next time. I had forgotten how much fun she was in front of the camera and those eyes...Oh my goodness!!! She just turned "12" yesterday and what is more important to a 12 year old girl than her cell, sunglasses, flip flops, and lip gloss?!?! T & H I had a really hard time picking my faves for this teeny tiny peek, so I hope you guys have made room for the new photos. There are lots and lots more just as cute with shoes, sunglasses and much more attitude. Enjoy!!! I love you guys and will be back very soon with lots more!

7.19.09

Ok...is this weather simply gorgeous or is it just me enjoying these afternoons just perfect for a session? I could seriously get use these just right temperatures and calm breezes! You may recognize this gorgeous, happy couple. I photographed them a few months ago for an engagement and came across a few new locations since, so we met up this afternoon for a quick session at a few new spots. Like before we had so much fun and I could have photographed them all day (especially with this weather), but I have to get home to get the sneak peek done some time. B&J...you know the routine...enjoy and I'll be seeing you guys very soon with lots more.
