Is this not the cutest little 3 month old you have ever seen? She was such a little stinker. She would drift off and we thought "ok...here we go she is about to fall asleep and we are gonna milk it." As soon as I'd pull my camera out she'd start cooing and smiling. She was just teasing me. She of course thought it was funny and would laugh every time she woke up from her pretend nap. I really enjoyed this session. This is the youngest daughter of a dear friend of mine. We grew up together and it was a privilege getting to spend the afternoon with her and her adorable little M. She has 4 more cuties at home so I'm sure this is not the last time I will have the pleasure of photographing her or her beautiful children. M, I saw this rest tonight in town...they all remembered my name and hugged me as soon as they saw me. You have some AMAZING children and I can't wait to spend an afternoon with the whole family. Here is the tiniest little peek and I will be back with more very soon.

7.14.09

I have said it before and once again this will not be the last...pretty people make my job way too easy. Does this girl not have the most gorgeous eyes you have ever seen? Absolutely stunning! Every background she was against just pulled out all of the different colors in her eyes. She came with a very open mind and was up for whatever. We went all over the place and had an awesome time. She is so full of life! T...I know you are checking these from your little cubical so maybe these will add a little color to your corner of the office. Here is the tiniest little peek and you know there is a lot more to follow very soon. Until then...enjoy!

Trashin' it!!!

It was 1998, there were several of us that attended a private school 45 minutes outside of Talladega, so we all carpooled together to save our money for the weekend and not spend it on gas. Ginger was just 15 and not driving yet so she carpooled home with me and a couple of other girls. That was the beginning of a very rewarding friendship between us two. We became the very best of friends, and from then on we were inseparable. I love her dearly! It is hard to find a true friend these days, and Ginger is without a doubt a diamond in the rough. We have not seen as much of each other as we would've liked to over the past few years and what better way to spend a much needed day together than playing in the rain, being silly, and trashing a wedding gown? It was just like when we were younger and without a care in the world. I don't think you realize how much you miss some one's company until you have such a great day together like we did today. I hope our next day together is not another few years because I could use days like this more often. She was just married to her one and only this past April and the day was absolutely perfect, and so clean. Nothing like today in the rain, mud, waist high grass, cold creek water, and sticky hot temperatures. But after all we went through to get these shots it was sooo completely worth every single bit! Ginger I had a really hard time picking just a peek, and had so many more I wanted to post as well but we'll save the rest for the proofs. So here are just a few to tease you. I'll be calling you very soon with the rest. I love you and I will never forget this day!!! Thank you for being such a great friend!

Doll baby...

And I mean "Doll!" Golden curls, pink cheeks, pudgy lips, cute little front teeth, and big, deep blue eyes. This little princess just turned one, and you may recognize her. I first met her when she was just a tiny little 5 month old in the fall, and this is not the last I will have the pleasure of photographing her. She will be visiting me again in the next couple of weeks and bringing 6 other kiddos along for an afternoon in the country, with a little bit of guitar playing and just to be fun and fancy free. J...here is a little peek for you, and I can't wait to meet again for the rest of your beautiful family. It's going to be an afternoon to remember!!! Good luck to CJ, and I'll be seeing y'all very soon!

Surprise for Momma...

I don't even know where to start with this one. Let me first say that this was a very special session for me. I got to spend this gorgeous Alabama afternoon with two very special people in my life. My brother Patrick and first cousin Michael. Anytime spent with my little brother means more to me than he could ever imagine. He is such an important part of my life. Michael has been overseas serving our country for the last 3 years, so it was an honor getting to see him on his very short visit home from Iraq. He wanted to surprise his mother and get some photos done before he leaves in a couple of weeks. I will be surprising her with a package after he is back overseas. He has found a love for the guitar while in Iraq, and plays beautifully. I could sit and listen to him play all day long. I know they are both going crazy wanting to see these photos. They wanted me to show them some as soon as we were finished this evening. So, Michael and Pap, enjoy this tiny peek, and I love you both!!!

6.11.09

As promised, this is more of the family from last Sunday. We finished up at a different location today and had a blast. It was super quick and completely relaxed. They are such a beautiful family. I even got an invitation for my husband and me to go 4-wheeler riding with them. We are definitely going to take them up on that. J&L we can't wait!!! Thank you guys for being so much fun to work with. Here is your tiny peek, and I'm sure you know there are lots, lots more. Enjoy!!!

Blue eyes...

And I mean blue!!! These boys have the most gorgeous, bluest eyes I have ever seen. Little C is turning 1 and still not a single tooth in his mouth. I just loved his gummy little smile. And T has the cutest freckles ever. This was a super fun, and SUPER hot session. I guess in order to have a gorgeous afternoon in the summer in Alabama you have learn to deal with the heat. Once again it was 90 degrees and H.O.T.!!! We started getting some clouds around sunset so we will be meeting again in the next few days for a quick sunset session. You will be seeing more of these two by the end of the week. As always there are lots more...this is just a quick peek. L, I've go my fingers crossed for a gorgeous sunset in the next few days. Until then get rested up for another hot afternoon in the country.

Socializing...facebook style...

We now have a facebook fan page. This has been a very confusing addition to our many internet sites. We are slowly learning social networking. Make sure to become a fan to take advantage of the special offers and contest that we will have going on. There is a link over to the right that will direct you right to it. To make this an even better post I have a couple more amazing photos from my most recent session.
