I had the most fabulous session today. This beautiful mommy, daddy, and big brother to be are amazing. They have so much love for each other you can feel it. Mommy has the most perfect baby bump ever, and little miss C was extra active today. We saw feet, fingers and her little round bottom. I cannot wait to meet the newest addition to this beautiful family. She will be arriving any day so keep a check back to get a quick peek at this new little bundle. But for now, while we all anxiously await the arrival of little Miss C, here is a little peek for Mommy and Daddy. These are only a few of my favorites. You have lots more to come!!!

Sun, and hiking, and cold water, oh my!!!

Ok, so you may recognize this beautiful senior from a few weeks ago. Remember I said that we weren't done, well, we finally finished today. Let me just tell you the story. I had this fantastic idea that we could go to High Falls which is about 35 minutes out of the county. I just knew we were going to get shots galore at these gorgeous waterfalls. Sounds fascinating huh? Well, the hike up to these falls was not as easy as I remember it being about 8 years ago. When you get to the water you have to cross a small brook to continue on the beaten path to these magnificent falls. Well it seems that every time I have ever had to cross rocks and water I always break flip flop. Yep you heard me right, I wore flip flops hiking. But remember I said I thought this was going to be an easy hike. So I had to leave my shoes at the bottom of this mountain and hike the rest of the way barefoot with my heavy camera bag over my shoulder and holding my reflector bag in my hand. It was OK on the way up because my feet were numb from being frozen solid by the below freezing water flowing off this mountain. So after this strenuous hike to the top the sun was beaming down through the trees overhead and we got sunspots no matter where we sat. Eventually I found a nice little rock and a tree just across the trail to hang my reflector from, and viola, instant shade. So we hiked back down the mountain to the trail head below only to find that what seemed to be a nice little walk up to the mountain is not covered with rocks beneath my tender feet. So I walked about 1/2 mile to my vehicle with one shoe on and tip-toeing with the other.

Needless to say...I don't think I will be going back out to high falls. But even after treading freezing water, breaking my favorite flip flops, and hiking until I could not breath, we still managed to get a couple of fabulous shots. I promised her I would have a tiny peek for her. Enjoy these photos folks because you won't be seeing any more from me at this location.

Also make sure to check back tomorrow night. I will have a sneak peek from a session with a beautiful Mommy, Daddy, and Big brother to be.

Singing in the rain...

That's all I kept hearing in my head during this session. It rained off and on all afternoon. We'd feel it coming and would all hop in the back of my Tahoe and wait it out. But what a fun session. Miss C is the girl next door. Soft spoken, sweet, funny, dimples, stunning eyes and terrified of bugs. She had us laughing so hard at her swatting and running from bugs. Her brother was "driving Miss Daisy." He drove her so she could change wardrobe from one location to another. He is the next Napolean Dynamite. He can talk just like him, so he made us not even notice the gloomy, wet day with his Napolean impersonation. Her prom was just a few nights before the session so she wanted to incorporate her super duper cute prom shoes. She has without question earned my respect for walking in 6 inch heels. I would break my neck.

So, let's get to it. I know she is crazy anxious waiting for this little peak. These are only a few. There are oodles and oodles more for her to see.

First of the season...

Senior season is just around the corner, and I can't wait. Bring 'em on!!! I woke up this morning thinking we were not going to get to do this session today, but by the afternoon the weather was on our side, and beautiful. We went everywhere, and still have a few more spots way outside of the city that we will be visiting when she returns from Spring Break. We shot for almost 4 hours, and I enjoyed every minute. This session rocked, and this senior is absolutely gorgeous. She is a photographers dream...! She's just a natural beauty, and her personlity makes her that much prettier. She loves the camera, and one of her favorite shows is "America's Next Top Model", so she made my job pretty easy today. She will not be back from Spring Break until next week, but I can't wait to show a few peeks. I can't wait for her to get home and see these. Enjoy!!!

Southern Belle...

I just love this kiddo...She has such a sweet soul and the biggest heart ever. Reintroducing, Little Miss H. My favorite little model. She was my first session, and has been my favorite face to photograph since. She was in her very first pageant last weekend, and she was such a natural. She walked across that stage with such ease and not a touch of butterflies. And her beauty and grace paid off. She received fourth runner up out of 14 girls. And not only did she place in such a large group, she also received Miss Photogenic, with this photo...

Her dress was stunning, and it was made just for her. I don't think she could have found a more perfect dress for herself. So for her Mommy, here is your sneak peak and you are going to have a fun time proofing these, because they are all this beautiful.

Sweetness!!!

I love me some sweet little boys, and these two are no exception! What a fabulous day for a session. Not too hot and by no means cool, a nice breeze, and two cuties smilin' at me. What else could I ask for on such a perfect day? I know I can't wait for Mommy and Daddy to see these, so Mommy and Daddy, here you go. But just a peak, you've got lots more.

Country babies...

Monday I had the pleasure of photographing some of the cutest kiddos ever. Mr.T full of personality and charm, and little miss H was the whole package...long red hair, striking blue eyes, pink chubby cheeks, and the pudgiest little lips I've ever seen. They were both absolute doll babies. We worked in the garden, rode tractors, visited an old farm, and even had some birthday cake. What a fun session!!! I can't wait to show their Gigi the rest of this fabulous session, but you know the routine, just a sneak peek to hold 'ya over. There are sooo many more to come.

Little man...

And that's exactly what he was...He was born only weighing just over 5 pounds and just 17 inches long. Today, just shy of 3 weeks old he is still a tiny little man, only weighing 6 pounds. I ended up with over 40 images of this tiny fella. Mommy and Daddy are going to have a really tough time picking their favorites. I know they are super anxious for their sneak peek, so here you go. This is just a handful of my favorites...
