Country from my head to my boots...

I did a quick session with my neighbor's daughters. These girls are pure country from the tops of there heads right down to their baby pink cowgirl boots. I was doing my daughters photos for her birthday party invitations and told them to meet us at the barn for a couple of quick shots. Looked up and here they come down the hill towards the barn with matching pink shirts, and pink cowgirl boots. Just adorable!!! We will be doing a bigger session with these country girls so there is more to come of these two. Here is a sneak peak.

Dauphin Island Sunset...

I don't think I've ever seen a more beautiful sunset...

Perfect setting...

We took "M" on her first trip to the beach this past weekend, and I don't think I have ever seen her happier. It was our first trip to Dauphin Island and it was so relaxing. The island is only a couple of miles long with no red lights, no grocery stores and only two Mom & Pop restaurants. It's just you and the beach, it doesn't get more peaceful than that. But the light, water, sand, and grassy dunes, ugh, how perfect is that? On our last afternoon there "M" and I took a beach stroll at sunset to get some shots before we left, and oh my, let me just tell you, the light on the beach at sunset is amazing. Talk about "the golden hour". I definitely would not even think twice about living on this island. It's absolutely paradise!!! We will be going back next summer for sure and I will take a billion photos again. Here are a few from this trip.

Maternity session with "H" and "J"...

This is the most adorable couple!!! This girl has got to be the most beautiful pregnant person I have ever seen, and her belly is so perfect it's unbelievable. We had so much fun with this session. I am so glad I got the oppurtunity to capture these special moments for them. Here is a sneak peek!!! I will be posting more soon!!!

Fall can't come soon enough!!!

I am so ready for Fall!!! It's my favorite time of year. The crunching leaves, all the yellows, oranges and reds, pumpkins, and the crisp cool air. Every year we visit the Baker Farm Pumpkin Patch and we have a blast. If you've never been you have to go. You don't know what you're missing. I will be starting fall sessions in a few weeks, and I can't wait. Hay bales, pumpkins, apple baskets, and cute little costumes. Oh I can't wait!!! My first session

My first session was with my eleven year old cousin. We had so much fun! She is such a great model. She is so adorable and photogenic and her eyes are perfect for headshots.
